A Trip To Ragunan Zoo

Ragunan Zoo is located in Pasar Minggu, Jakarta, Indonesia. It was established in 1864 in a 140 ha area. It has 295 species and 4040 specimens.

Some notes to Jakarta municipalities:
  1. The ticket is just too cheap. It's only 4000 Rupiah. It resulted in an almost abandoned zoo. I heard some visitors also complained about the low price ticket. But to make it worse, the toilet costs 1000 Rupiah per entry.
  2. The brochure is bad. The map will make you lost. The best way to find the animals site is by asking the hawkers. It's really bad especially if the hawkers don't know English at all. It'll be bad for the international tourists.
  3. Why the website is not on? why the promotion is not ringing a bell at all?
  4. Why don't you provide a paid (or free) bicycle or becak rental at the entrance? It site is just too big to be travel around on foot.
